The Muslim Youth Centre's Sports Day will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2009 from 12 noon to 4 p.m., Inshaa Allah.

 

All children ages 4 to 12 are welcome to attend.  Admission fee is $5.00 which includes a tasty lunch.  You will have an opportunity to learn some self defense skills, play games, etc.

UPCOMING MYC EVENTS

The following events have been planned by the Muslim Youth Centre's Youth Council:

 

 

1.  MYC Play Day, Wednesday, July 8, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at #208 - 7750 - 128th Street, Surrey, BC  604-502-8692. 

 

All youth are invited for games and activities.  Admission is free.  Please see the flyer below.

 

 

2.  MYC Sports Day, Saturday, July 18, 2009, 12 noon to 4 p.m. at #208 - 7750 - 128th Street, Surrey, BC  604-502-8692. 

 

This event will be for all children ages 4 to 12.  Admission fee will be $5.00 each.  Everyone will have an opportunity to join Mr. Adam Ishmail and Mrs. Sue Mysynuk in the Self Defense Class, have lunch, play games and have fun!   

 

 

3.  MYC sisters only swim event on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 9:15 p.m. at the Newton Wave Pool, Surrey, BC.  Admission fee will be $10.00 each.

 

 

4.  MYC Family Picnic on Sunday, August 9, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  This will be a potluck.  This event will be held at a park in Surrey.  The location will be confirmed in another e-mail.

MYC WOMEN'S FITNESS PROGRAM

All activities for children will be free.  These activities include games, face painting, henna, bouncy castle, etc.  There will also be a dunk tank.

REMINDER - MYC GIRLS SLEEPOVER - SATURDAY, MAY 30, 2009

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS!

 

Assalamu Alaikum,

 

The Muslim Youth Centre would like to invite all girls ages 11 to 19 to attend their first all girls sleepover on Saturday, May 30, 2009, starting at 5 p.m. and ending on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 11 a.m.

 

This is a great opportunity for our young girls to meet and socialize in a Halal environment.  The program includes speeches, games and food.  The registration fee is $5.00.
